never thought we'd be this happy about seeing 70
I know my northern friends are going to hate me right now, but we've been freezing for about 5 weeks now. One day we had a high of 39. Our skin is pasty white. My Grandma showed me a picture of me from last summer and I almost didn't recognize myself with my tan. I havn't worn shorts since 2009.
Today it got up to a balmy 70 degrees and we we didn't know what to do with ourselves! We wore shorts and flip flops, we took a wagon ride around the neighborhood and got warm. We played in the front yard...
...and we went to the park.
...we never thought we'd be so happy to see 70!

I can't help but notice.....who is that man pushing my grandson wearing a "MOUNTAIN DEW T-SHIRT"....Its good to know that some birthday gifts are appreciated....Glad that Trey is doing' the DEW!!!!!!
This northern friend doesn't hate you...but is a tad jealous! I can't wait to feel 70 degree sunshine on my pasty white Wisconsin skin!
